Kannegiesser confirms withdrawal from Texcare

Kannegiesser has confirmed that it has withdrawn from Texcare International in November and pledges to present its new developments in a different way. Kannegiesser told LCNi: “Texcare is an excellent opportunity to meet customers from all over the world, talk to them about new developments and trends and demonstrate our systems live. Personal contact and exchange is very important, especially for the laundry industry.

CLMTexfinity out of Texcare and going local

After going through all the pros and cons, CLMTexfinity has decided not to participate in this year’s edition of Texcare. There is still a high reluctancy towards international travelling, and also the current situation with the Covid-19 virus and the new variations both in Germany and abroad is still very uncertain and delicate.

Let’s all rock up in Blackpool

An industry celebration of the return to normal has been organised by the Worshipful Company of Launderers (WCL). The event is a weekend in Blackpool with a day’s visit to Lake Windermere. It is open to all – and do bring the children. 
“From Friday 22 to Sunday 24 October why not treat yourself to three days of leisure to relax and forget your troubles in the popular British seaside holiday destination. There is a limited number of organised functions to keep it relaxed. It is going to be fun but interesting,” said WCL Master Ken Cupitt.

Big brands withdraw from Texcare International 2021

Two of the biggest names in laundry equipment and solutions, Jensen Group and Kannegiesser, have opted out of Texcare International 2021, and other exhibitors are reportedly withdrawing. As yet there is no official word from organiser Messe Frankfurt but a spokesperson has told LCNi: “It is true, that Kannegiesser and Jensen have cancelled their participation within the free cancellation deadline on 3 September. Currently [Messe Frankfurt] is discussing that fact with every single exhibitor personally. We still keep the deadline on 3 September and will communicate around that date.“

Rinnai N Series ‘hydrogen blend ready’ now

Water heating unit and system manufacturer Rinnai has announced that, after an extensive testing and verification process, its current Sensei N Series range is ‘hydrogen ready’ now for the proposed initial supply of hydrogen blends fed through the existing gas infrastructure.
The Sensei N Series can by powered by a blend of up to 30% hydrogen, Rinnai UK is also in advanced development of units which can handle the complete hydrogen gas supply. The appliance is described as ‘out of the box’ design engineered and approved to be installed for use on natural gas. But the same unit is futureproofed – because following a conversion and re-commissioning process in the field it will then operate safely and efficiently solely using a hydrogen supply.

Jensen Group pulls out of Texcare International 2021

Jensen Group, after a thorough analysis of the current situation, has decided not to participate in Texcare International, Frankfurt, in November. According to the company, the decision has been made because the situation regarding the spread of the Covid-19 virus and the new variants in Germany and especially abroad is still unpredictable.

Pannell takes over as Christeyns’ South East regional manager as Stone retires

Russ Pannell has been appointed to take over the role of Christeyns’ regional manager as Keith Stone, retires from the business to move to British Overseas Territory St Helena after 20 years’ service. Stone joined Bradford-based Christeyns in September 2001 and was a key member of the Southern team, working initially as an account manager, then deputy manager and latterly area manager for the South East.
