Swiss laundry equipment manufacturer Schulthess acquired a majority holding in GMP SRL in Pieve di Soligo, Italy, as of 23 June. GMP is the leading manufacturer of ironing machines for flat linen in Europe. With this acquisition, Schulthess Maschinen AG is once again expanding its portfolio and strengthening its position as a washing technology expert in the international market.

Sarah Guilott-McInnis has joined America’s Best Cleaners (ABC) in the role of implementation specialist. A third-generation drycleaner owner, Guilott-McInnis has spent most of her life in a drycleaning shop. Her family has owned and operated AAA Drive In Cleaners in Lake Charles, Louisiana, for over 60 years.
