The organisers of Texcare International have been listening to the wishes of exhibitors and visitors alike and have made changes to the timing of the event from Spring to Autumn and also made changes to the days of the week that suit visitors and exhibitors best. As such, the leading global trade fair for laundry, drycleaning and textile services in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, will run on four days from Wednesday to Saturday from 2024 over 6 – 9 November.

Fake tanners and heavy make-up users are costing UK hotels and holiday lets up to £1.792 million a year by leaving marks on bedding on towels, according to new figures from linen recovery specialists Regenex. Laundries all over the country are now condemning an estimated 224 tons of sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, and towels each year, due to fake tan, self-tan or heavy make-up* — at a huge cost to the environment as well as company finances.

ImageFIRST is going places, expanding into new healthcare laundry markets, acquiring established laundry businesses since 2018. Now, according to a report from the North America linen rental association, TRSA, Calera Capital, a leading middle-market private-equity investment firm based in San Francisco, has announced the successful closing of Calera Capital Image Holdings LP, a new single-asset continuation fund of approximately $750 million. The continuation fund transaction will provide substantial additional capital to support the continued execution of ImageFIRST’s future growth strategy.
