Aramark has announced that Vestis will be the name of the new company to be created through the expected spin-off of its uniform services business. This follows Aramark’s previously announced plan to separate Aramark Uniform Services (AUS) to create an independent, publicly traded company. The separation expected to be completed on 30 September.

The Love Laundry Awards were established to champion the care homes and laundry heroes that work tirelessly to keep their residents safe. Now in their third year, the awards have been split into three categories, including: Laundry Hero Award, Care Home Team Award and Care Home Group Award.

CLEANR’s microplastic filter wins six of the best at IFA 2023 awards in Berlin

CLEANR, a new greentech venture, won six Best of IFA 2023 awards at IFA Berlin, the world’s largest appliance industry conference, last week. This followed the company’s launch of a new microplastic filter for washing machines. Washing machine wastewater is the single largest source of microplastic pollution globally, accounting for 35% of emissions, said the company. Although at this time the technology is aimed at domestic washers, the door is open to development for industrial washers.
