Brian Cantillon has retired after many years involvement with the textile care sector, for 26 years he was a member of the council of the Society of Laundry Engineers and Allied Trades.
Mr Cantillon worked for various Unilever companies, most recently DiverseyLever. Due to his retirement from business, he has resigned from SLEAT’s council—he was president of the society in 1975 and from 1990 to 1992.
He says he has an enduring memory of many “great personalities” in the laundry industry’s supply trade.
