Avantex, the first international trade fair for high-tech garment textiles and fashion engineering will be held at the Frankfurt Messe, from 27-29 November 2000.
The show, which will be linked to a symposium held at the same time, will look at all sectors of the textile and garment and production process from research and development to marketing strategies. En route it will take in areas such as fibres, textiles, finishing, high-tech fabrics and garments, making up, hygiene and care.
Show manager, Dr Isa Hoffman says that the aim is to highlight the enormous spectrum of possibilities and market opportunities offered by high-tech textiles and give the world its first platform for communicating ideas in this field, where Europe has a significant lead.
