Rochelle Linen Services has acquired the business of the Savoy Laundry as a going concern.
The deal, which went through on 24 December 1999, gives the business to Rochelle for a fixed period of one year with an option for a one-year rollover exercisable by both parties.
Rochelle will continue to operate from its own Tottenham plant as well as from the former Savoy Laundry premises in Clapham. MD Peter Christodoulou will oversee both businesses.
A spokesman for the company said that Rochelle’s reputation as a five-star laundry had allowed it to benefit from the new opportunities offered by the deal.
