Seddon brings over three decades of experience in the textile industry, with a distinguished career that spans procurement, product development, and supply chain management.

Seddon began his career at Beldorn Textiles (now Belledorm, also part of the Ruia Group) before moving to P&R Fabrics, where he honed his expertise in sales and credit management for the workwear and fashion industries. In 1995, he joined Richard Haworth, supporting managing director Raj Ruia in procurement and product development.

In 2002, Seddon moved to Swiscot Textiles, where he played a pivotal role in developing new business opportunities and creating the Linen Connect brand. His work at Swiscot spanned procurement, sales, product development, quality assurance under ISO 9001 standards, and establishing a strong reputation for excellence within the industry.

Seddon rejoins Richard Haworth to lead the supply chain function, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the Ruia Group’s operations and values.

According to Seddon: “Returning to Richard Haworth feels like coming home. I’m thrilled to reconnect and contribute to the company’s continued growth and success. Over the years, I’ve gained invaluable insights into procurement and supply chain strategies, and I’m eager to apply these skills to ensure our operations remain seamless and customer-focused. Richard Haworth has always been synonymous with quality and innovation, and I’m proud to be part of the next chapter of this journey.”

Ruia warmly welcomed Seddon’s return to the team, saying:”Mark’s wealth of experience and deep industry knowledge make him the perfect fit to lead our supply chain operations. At Richard Haworth, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional products and service, and Mark’s expertise will further strengthen our capabilities. It’s fantastic to have him back, and we’re excited about the impact he will make.”

Seddon’s appointment comes as Richard Haworth continues to enhance its product portfolio and strengthen its dedication to delivering exceptional service to the hospitality industry. His extensive experience, particularly in procurement and quality assurance, will be instrumental in ensuring the company maintains its high standards while navigating the complexities of the modern supply chain.
