Laundries grabbed the chance last week to  attend the last TSA Road Show this year to find out how the Association can help their businesses. Following the TSA Autumn Conference, TSA hosted its third and final Road Show of 2022 on Thursday 13 October in Burton-On-Trent. This is part of the Association’s ongoing drive to meet more laundries across the industry.

The final event featured a great line up of guest speakers. The industry keynote speaker for the evening, Julian Carr, chairman of Regency Laundry shared  his experience from a lifetime in the industry, having worked for one of the major players in the market to now developing his own bespoke offer.

Discussing the benefits of the Textile Care Operative Apprenticeship scheme, the TSA’s industry specific standard qualification were Rebecca Morgan, head of HR at Johnsons Hotel Linen and chair of the TSA’s Apprenticeship Trailblazer Group talked about her advocacy for the scheme. Finally, Krzysztofa Grabowska, the first apprentice to complete the qualification  shared a few words about her experience of the scheme and how it has helped her progress in her day-to-day job.
