Diversey, the global cleaning and hygiene company, opened a new R&D centre in China at the end of April. The new centre represents a significant investment for Diversey in China, and is a key milestone in the execution of the company's Asia strategy.

The centre opened on the first day of the China Clean Expo (CCE), where the company showcased a range of product innovations and services.

Situated at Wenjing Road, in the Minhang district of Shanghai, the new facility replaces a smaller R&D lab which Diversey operated in China prior to becoming a standalone company.

Adam Guo, Diversey vice president Greater China, said: “As China is one of the top priority global markets for Diversey, this brand new R&D centre represents a crucial investment. Since our transition to a standalone entity there is a sense of Diversey and China having a shared mission. Diversey is determined to increase our understanding of the Chinese market and to effectively harness local talent. With this increased investment, we aim to grow significantly as a company and drive recognition of Diversey as the leading global innovator, developer and provider of cleaning, sanitation and maintenance products and systems.”
