JENSEN-GROUP has been awarded the contract to refit the laundry at Ulster Hospital with new state-of-the-art equipment. The new machines will include some of the latest Alpha by Jensen line of machines giving high quality and high value-for-money solutions.

Ulster Hospital is undergoing a major £261 million redevelopment to replace the original hospital built in the 1960’s. As part of this redevelopment the laundry will be removed from its existing building and moved into a modern building. This building will be extensively upgraded over the next few months.

Mike Cleaver, sales manager for Jensen UK told Laundry and Cleaning News: “The tender for the new Ulster Hospital laundry was a long hard fought battle. A lot of work and detail went into completing the tender to ensure that the best solution was offered to the Trust. Expertise to help plan the new laundry, reliable high quality built machines and rapid after-sales support were all key factors Jensen could offer.

“We are looking forward to working with the South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust to provide a laundry service to the hospital that Belfast can be proud of.”
