Peter Turek, managing director of SoCom Informationssysteme, has left the company with effect from 30 June 2017. Turek will be available to SoCom in an advisory capacity after his departure.
Wolfgang Faist takes over all the responsibilities within the management and continues to represent the strategic orientation of the company as CEO. He will also continue to strengthen the further development of the company and the modular software solution.
For further development of the modular software solution for laundries, Hans Riess has joined the SoCom development team as Team Leader Development with effect from 1 May this year. Hans Riess is a highly experienced expert with a large degree of international experience with regard to business critical IT systems.
Peter Turek joined SoCom Informationssysteme in 1995 as managing director and he played a major role in the continuing development of the technical system. Wolfgang Faist said: "Peter Turek and his team successfully developed our software TIKOS into a fully-fledged ERP system for laundries. The technical concerns and requirements of our customers have always been a top priority for him and he constantly developed our software in a targeted manner. In this way, he significantly contributed to the successful expansion of our market position in Germany and abroad."
He added: "We would like to thank him for his many years of successful commitment and wish him all the best for his future career and private life."
