New guide tape spools for flatwork ironers from laundry product supplier Tingue are machined from durable, waterproof, PVC plastic to resist wear and offer extended service life versus the wooden guide spools commonly included with the laundry finishing machinery.
The spools, which will be unveiled at Clean Show 2017 in Las Vegas on 5-7 June 2017, feature a hard, smooth surface to reduce friction and allow the guide tape to move freely without wearing a groove on the spool or causing premature deterioration of the tape.
By safeguarding the guide tape, the ironer spools also extend the tape's service life for reduced maintenance and downtime while assuring the linens feed through the ironer rolls properly without crimping or wrinkling.
