SoCom Informationssysteme, the IT service provider for the textile industry is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year – and begins its anniversary year with a clear strategy for internationalisation.
The software company that produces Tikos, a comprehensive Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for laundries, has transformed itself from a one-man operation to an IT service provider now employing a workforce of 35.
Initially founded by Wolfgang Faist as a start-up, the company provides IT services to the textile care industry all over the world. The company plans to expand globally in key markets and participate actively in the increasing digitisation of the industry.
An anniversary event will be held later this year.
“25 years of SoCom is a cause for celebration,” said company founder and CEO Wolfgang Faist. “At the same time, it also motivates us to look to the future, to continue addressing key customer requirements and play an active part in shaping IT trends.”
