Flexco Europe, the German subsidiary of Flexco (Flexible Steel Lacing Company), the international specialist for mechanical conveyor belt fastener systems, says that its latest product line for the laundry industry includes two lacers for fast, reliable installation of fasteners.
Belt conveyors are used in commercial laundries to move material between different work stations, says Flexco. The connections between these belts are of critical importance. They must be strong enough to ensure that the system keeps running at all times, and the fasteners must be designed so that their points do not damage the linens.
The Flexco range includes the ARK 150-WNP electric hydraulic lacer. This provides a professional means of pressing patch fasteners into the belt material, and the process takes less than 30 seconds.
In addition is the Anker lacer in the AHP 120-WNP series. With this lacer, service technicians can install patch fasteners hydraulically using a mobile heating unit.
