Sensene is a new solvent from Dow and Safechem. Based on an inherently biodegradeable modified alcohol, Sensene has a low aquatic toxicity and is said to offer excellent cleaning and stain dissolving power whilst at the same time enabling gentle treatment of a variety of fabrics and fibres.
Dow and Safechem introduced Sensene for the first time at the Texcare show in Frankfurt, Germany. During Texcare, Safechem provided visitors with an opportunity to test the Sensene solvent with their own garments.
