LCN, the UK industry’s leading trade journal, is pleased to announce that nomination forms for the first Laundry and Cleaning News Awards (LCN Awards), celebrating the best of the best in the UK’s laundry and drycleaning market, are now available at the LCN Awards website.
Closing date for nominations is 1 August 2016.
Laundries, textile rental companies and drycleaners throughout the UK are being invited to enter. There are 15 awards categories to embrace all aspects of the market. A carefully selected panel of judges who know and understand the market dynamics and have absolutely no connection to any of the entrants or sponsors, will judge every submission, based on strict criteria.
Major players within the market are already backing the LCN Awards, which will be presented at a black-tie gala dinner at the Manor Hotel Meriden, Birmingham, on 20 October 2016.
Sponsored by HJ Weir, Ideal Manufacturing, Linen Connect, Miele Professional and supported by the Textile Services Association and The Guild of Cleaners and Launderers, the awards will be attended by the "movers and shakers" from the UK’s textile care market and is intended to become the industries must-attend event of the year.
