The Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC) reported tremendous interest, when it exhibited at the Gulf Laundrex Linen Care Expo held in Dubai, UAE, in November.
HLAC was at the show to introduce the benefits and standards of its accreditation scheme, which operates worldwide, to Middle East countries.
Gregory Gicewicz, president of the HLAC board, was at the show along with board member Thomas Scheidel, who has been consulting in the region for the past 18months.
Visitors to the stand included laundry owners and operators from the region as well as supporting industries, laundry consultants, linen and equipment suppliers, training companies and government officials.
As well as talking to visitors on the stand Gicewitz also joined a panel of laundry experts at the forum that took place alongside the exhibition.
