Xeros, the inventor of polymer bead based textile cleaning, has appointed Tony Kerr as European sales and marketing director.
Kerr, previously sales manager at Girbau UK, joins Xeros as it focusses on developing business in mainland Europe. The Xeros system, which largely replaces water with reusable and recyclable polymer beads, is already in use in several commercial laundries and hotel groups in the UK and USA.
Xeros, which is based in South Yorkshire, developed a laundering system that largely replaces the use of water with reusable and recyclable polymer beads.
Chief executive officer, Bill Westwater said that Kerr has a clear passion for driving businesses forward and his skills will be beneficial to the whole team.
He added that part of Kerr’s remit would be to create a more sales-focussed attitude across the whole company to allow it to grow.
