A total 20,100 visitors from 102 countries attended Expo Detergo 2014, which took place at the Fiera Milano in Milan, Italy from 3 – 6 October.
Visitors from outside Italy accounted for over half of the total, and the figures show an increase of 21% in the number of countries represented compared with the 2010 show.
Luciano Miotto, president of Expo Detergo International, said that this year’s event highlighted the show’s importance in a mature industry that has increasingly found its key markets in tourism, hospitality, and nursing homes.
The next Expo Detergo will be held at the Fiera Milano on 5 to 8 October 2018.
