Xeros has appointed John Carmody as sales manager, with responsibility for developing the important drycleaning and small commercial laundry sectors for Xeros in the UK. He will report to commercial director Andy Hewitt.
Carmody spent three years with international chemicals specialist Christeyns and 12 years, in two spells, with Alex Reid, supplier of specialist laundry and drycleaning products for the fabric care industry.
Xeros, which is based in South Yorkshire, developed a laundering system that largely replaces the use of water with reusable and recyclable polymer beads. Several leading commercial laundries and hotel groups in the UK and USA now use Xeros systems.
Other current British-based company partners include leading London drycleaning company White Rose Laundries and international washroom hygiene, mat, workwear and textile solution provider the CWS-boco Group.
