Net revenue was $128.9million, a 9.4% rise over the same period in 2011. Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was $24.4million compared to $21.5million in 2011.

The overall net revenue increase was $11.0million and the company attributed this to increases in USA and Canada revenues of $8.5million, in Asia of $2.9million, Latin America of $0.9million and the Middle East and Africa of $0.6million. These increases were partially offset by a decline in Europe revenues of $1.9million.

Net revenues for the six months ended June 30 increased 10.8%, to $246.1 million compared to the first half of 2011.

Michael Schoeb, CEO at Alliance Holdings, said that the second-quarter results continued to demonstrate Alliance’s progress in executing strategies with an intensified effort on new product development.

“Our diverse operations delivered record revenues despite continued headwinds in Europe, the negative impact of foreign currency, and higher raw material and distribution costs,” he said.
