The Canadian factory joins the company’s established sites in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Nevada, and California, as well as in the UK, France and Mexico.

Although its products have been available to Canadian customers for over 10 years, World Emblem says that the Ontario site will help it to improve the product range for this market and also to attract more customers.

The Ontario factory will provide a faster turn-round in production and will be able to offer better shipping rates as duties and brokerage fees will no longer have to be included. A sales manager will be based in Toronto.

The Canadian manufacturing plant will be capable of producing Perfect Print sublimated emblems, embroidered logo emblems, direct embroidery on apparel, transfer applications on apparel and embroidered name and company emblems.

Alfredo Torres has been appointed as manager of the Canadian factory. Torres joins World Emblem with 11 years of experience in production and materials management in the automotive market as well as five years in the uniform rental industrial laundry industry.
