Fulton said it will use the additional space to increase its manufacturing capacity for established product lines, as well as products and technology development.
The expanded site will add a further 7,600sq m (82,000sq ft) to the existing manufacturing building, a 930sq m (10,000sq ft) research and development centre and a 1,860sq m (20,000sq ft) of corporate offices.
The manufacturing building will have increased crane capacity to allow for the engineering and production of larger boilers and heating systems.
The expansion, which is partly funded by a $1.5million grant by New York’s Upstate Regional Blueprint Fund, is expected to be completed in May 2011.
