It is also asking for priority access to retrovirals such as Tamiflu to help maintain both public health and the supply of clean linen that is essential for hospitals, food and pharmaceuticals businesses.
CEO Murray Simpson says that in the event of a pandemic, laundries could suffer from staff shortages, possibly up to 50%.
He adds that TSA keeps in close touch with UK Resilience, the government body responsible for such matters, will contact it to help identify the laundries that serve the priority sectors.
As the situation will develop, TSA will adjust its advice as needed.
