The board will be headed by Judy Reino as chairwoman, Patti Costello as vice chairwoman and Rick Kislia as secretary/treasurer. The directors are Nancy Bjerke, Brad Bushman, Linda Freeman, Bob Pfeifer, Sandra Hensley, Ed McCauley, Woody Ostrow and Lynne Sehulster and David Stern.
HLAC aims to maintain high standards in healthcare laundering and provides an inspection and accreditation process that recognises those laundries that meet these standards. Accreditation is voluntary.
At its meeting in December 2008, the board announced that more than 55 laundries have received accreditation.
