In previous years, the seminars were provided by the show’s sponsoring associations – the Association for Linen Management, Coin Laundry Association, Drycleaning & Laundry Institute, Textile Care Allied Trades Association, Textile Rental Services Association of America, and Uniform & Textile Service Association. In 2009, these sponsors will be joined by other industry bodies, including the American Reusable Textile Association, Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council, and the International Executive Housekeepers Association from the USA; and the Canadian Cleaners and Launderers Association. In addition. the European Textile Services Association and the UK’s Textile Services Association will collaborate with the European umbrella organisation for Textile Care, Cinet, to provide educational sessions.
“Our official name is World Educational Congress for Laundering and Drycleaning, and we felt the entire textile care industry would benefit from a more global reach in the education program,” said Roger Cocivera, Clean ’09 chairman and CEO of TRSA.
