Initial Washroom Solutions is opening three supercentres for mats and towels at Glasgow, Birmingham and Reading and closing the processing plants at Bradford and Chorley, as part of a restructuring programme aimed to bring a stronger focus on core activities.
Staff at Bradford and Chorley were told of the company’s plans on September 10 and a ninety-day consultation period is in process.
IWS is also selling its wiper business to United Wipers, again allowing it to focus entirely on its core activities.
