Verity joined Johnson Service Group as chief operating officer of Johnson Cleaners UK in August 2000.
He takes over from David Bryant, the director responsible for the drycleaning division, who earlier announced his intention of retiring from the company at the beginning of October next year. Bryant will continue within the drycleaning business as special projects director, and remains a director of Johnson Service Group until his retirement.
