Girbau and its American subsidiary Continental Girbau will be featuring an extensive line of industrial and commercial laundry equipment, and demonstrating to visitors how to plan efficient coin and on-premise laundries.
Continental Girbau’s adjoining booths provide an opportunity to navigate the new Aurora Income Accelerator, a live parts central database and the company’s laundry-planning CD ROMs. Also on view is the company’s Pro-Series of washer-extractors, tumble dryers, and flatwork ironers; hard-mount washer-extractors, and the massive tunnel washer.
Mike Floyd, president of Continental, says the show provides a great opportunity for coin store owners and laundry managers to learn first hand how Continental, its equipment and distributor network sets the company apart from its competitors.
The Aurora Income Accelerator allows users to select a machine from hundreds of top-load washers and automatically compare it with the highly efficient Aurora. The Accelerator measures variables such as water, electricity and gas consumption; the tax bracket of the purchaser and the cost of utilities in their area; tax incentives, financing options, rebates, warranties, vend price and the washer’s average number of turns.
Also featured is the Parts Central online database, which serves as a centralised parts resource for Continental distributors, listing some 220,000 parts by 45 laundry equipment manufacturers.
Visitors can learn to plan efficient coin and OPLs with the help from Continental’s interactive CD-ROMs.
This year marks Continental’s 10th anniversary as the USA subsidiary of Girbau. Girbau, a family-owned company founded in 1923 in Vic (Barcelona), Spain, markets its products throughout 80 countries worldwide.
