The Scanpress system was introduced some three years ago. It sells to a range of businesses including ironing services, laundries and drycleaning shops.
Marilyn Freeman, Scanpress managing director, says that a high number of enquiries were from drycleaners and her company needed to build this market. It therefore approached Firbimatic.
Andy Lambert, of Firbimatic UK, says that the Scanpress system, with its innovative design and low running costs, will meet a need in the drycleaning market for producing a high quality finish on the worst of home washed ironing.
