The announcement came at the Scottish AGM, as chairman Ian Simpson handed over to his successor Alex Bruce.
The meeting , which attracted a record attendance of 51 cleaners, also heard Pat Dowling of Alex Reid talk on the Solvent Emissions Directive and what cleaners need to do to comply, and a talk by Graeme Calder of New Wave Laundries on the development of his business.
