Guild conference reaches for the stars

The Guild of Cleaners and Launderers holds its annual conference, titled Reach For the Stars and based round the Guild's Q-Stars, on April 27/28, at the Marriott Hotel, Langley, Slough.

The weekend opens with the President’s reception and dinner-dance, but responding to the views of delegates at last year’s conference, the business programme will be reserved for the Sunday and will start, slightly later than usual, at 10am.

A speaker from Marks and Spencers’ has been promised, but details have not been finalised.

Peter Tuppen, of Spencers Drycleaners, Seeing stars VAT’ll be the day”.
