At this year’s exhibition, Fulton Boilers will be launching the 440LDC vertical steam boiler which has been designed specifically for the replacement market in the laundry and drycleaning sector.
A skid-mounted version, equipped with a pump, blowdown system, feed water tank and water treatment, will be featured and this factory-built, pre-wired and pre-piped package will be offered at a special price to customers placing an order at Clean UK.
Based on Fulton’s Series E model, the 440LDC boiler, has been launched as an affordable replacement for smaller businesses currently using Series E or similar models. Company research suggests that there are hundreds of Series E boilers well over 20 years old that, while still providing good service, may be reaching the end of their life.
The 440LDC is supplied to a basic spec for installations where there will be existing services and ancillary plant such as feed pump, blowdown vessel, feed water tank and water treatment.
It can be range rated on site during commissioning to give an output between 440 and 350 lb/h (200 – 160kg/h), so allowing the boiler duty to be matched to the laundry load and the system to operate at optimum efficiency.
